Steps for Collegiate Chapter Installation

  1. Interested students meet to discuss Delta Omicron, its goals, purposes, requirements for membership, and financial obligations.

  2. The group finds a person to serve as Chapter Adviser and Faculty Sponsor from campus faculty or community Delta Omicron Alumni.

  3. At least 12 eligible students sign the petition requesting installation of a new chapter and submit to the International President of Delta Omicron.

  4. Establish a date for the Chapter Installation Ceremony, Musicale, and Initiation.

  5. Host training sessions and group meetings in preparation for Installation.

  6. Petitioning group mails check of $150 to the National Office. Upon installation, the Fraternity will present the chapter with a check for $50 to assist in starting the chapter bank account.

  7. No later than 3 weeks prior to the Installation date, membership fees and forms need to be mailing to the National Office.

  8. After planning and training, host Initiation, Installation Ceremony, Musicale, and Reception.
