Delta Omicron’s Triennial Conference is scheduled to occur on July 28-30, 2022 at the Norfolk Waterside Marriott in Norfolk, Virginia.  Each Delta Omicron Chapter is directed by our BYLAWS to send an official delegate to represent their chapter at the 2022 Triennial Conference, the governing body of Delta Omicron.  Chapters will elect their delegate and an alternate and submit their names no later than March 1, 2022 along with their Conference Registration Fee. Other Delta Omicron members who plan to attend will need to submit their registration to the Executive Office and arrange their lodging through the conference hotel.  We encourage all members to attend this educational and musically fulfilling event.

Chapters and members are encouraged to help with conference preparation. Below are some ways you may help:

Call for Collegiate and Alumni Performers: If you would like to be considered to perform on the Collegiate Concert or Alumni Concert, you will need to submit an mp3 of good quality, recorded within the last year to Brenda Dannewitz by January 15, 2022. Application information should include: performer’s name, school and home addresses, school/home/cell phone numbers.  Interested applicants should email addresses, D.O. chapter name, and title/composer information for each selection submitted on the audition. Contact Brenda Dannewitz for more information at The selected Collegiate and Alumni Music Delegates will have conference expenses paid by the Fraternity.  This is a great way to attend without having to spend a lot of money!

Silent Auction: Each chapter is to send an item for the silent auction with your delegate. All attendees may contribute. Items can be related to Delta Omicron, to music, or be something of worth that would encourage bidding by attendees. Items should be new or in excellent condition. Interesting antiques and handmade items are also welcome. Money collected from the silent auction will be going to offset the cost of holding our conference. Prizes will be awarded for the top-selling items.

Alumni are invited to assist with the auction; if interested, contact Stephanie Thompson for more information

Chapter Scrapbooks: Chapters are invited to bring a scrapbook to conference. Scrapbooks are judged and prizes awarded. Scrapbooks may be physical or digital. If your scrapbook is digital, please bring your own technology for the scrapbook to be viewed by others.

Sponsor the Conference:  There are many sponsorship opportunities, please refer to The Wheel, Website, and Facebook for different items that need sponsorship. Donations of any amount are always accepted to support the conference and offset the cost. Chapters who wish to donate towards the conference from their chapter fund may use this as a national service project for your chapter. If you have questions or need more specifics please contact Kimberly Martin-Boyd,
